I saw this video and was appaled. The person claims to be herper. But he pins heads and makes snake out to be monsters what do you thiink?

Does any one have an opinion on this video

I dont like the way he pinned the snake down at all.

Only thing is with videos like this, although we dont condone them, the more people view them the higher the ratings go. Same with these vids that show say someone putting a lizard in a cage with a hamster...etc...

I asked him about the vid anmd he said he was showing people snakes werent monsters.......WOW

If the werent monsters he wouldnt have needed to of pinned it to the ground with a stick poor snakey

Well to end it I listed my collection in latin and said make english out of it with out the power of google. He couldnt do. What kind of herpatoligist is this

If I voice my opinion Ill get banned lol. Though, he was trying to have fun I guess??? He is an idiot. Id probably slash his tires if I saw him in the field.

HE also says that kids are the down fall of the hobby

I work with a lot of rare reptiles and I do a lot of herping. People like him are in the local Herp Societies (in the US) where they always put down kids and try to act holier than thou. No matter what I have or what I do, I will always see that the key to conservation is in the youth and even if its "just" a cornsnake the kid has its still an amazing creature and one that will open a door to a whole new world for the kid. I hate people like that guy. People like him have no idea what a true herper is or what herpetocultury is about.
