Default Factors of animal endangerment

When thinking about animal and endangerment we must remember that many factors contribute to the sad demise of many species.

Unfortunately one of the main factors that plays a part in the endangerment issue is human activity, through pollution, animal trade, deforestation and selfishness. This alone is a huge issue, but there are obviously other concerns such as illness and disease some obviously being more rapid than others.

These natural factors cannot be helped, there are many that occur at a slow pace leaving SOME species time to adjust to their new enviroment, climate change for example. It is unfortunate that not all species have the chance to adapt, some are just not biologically adaptable to such changes. There are many natural changes such as disease and infestation which have a more immediate effect on species, these usually spontanious and inevitable. Plants and animals alike are struggling to get used to these changes, which in effect is leading to many species becoming endangered or extinct.

Over years, pollution has made serious effects on this planet, its damaging the o-zone layer, damage by harmfull CFC's and oil spills committed by numerous corporations are just two of the factors which have put our marine life at risk. Its a vicious circle in which unfortunately we are ALL doing harm wether we realise it or not.I am by no means saying that animal endangerment is soley down to human activity but it is not helping, it is just one of the many causes of it.

In some countries there is still to this day a huge demand for items such as ivory which is being used to aid in medication, just as sea horses are in demand for use in chinese medication. Surely there must be another source that could replace this?

It is so very sad but true that so many species in this world are becoming endangered, there are many steps we can take worldwide to aid in animal conservation such as leaving their natural habitats be rather than destroying them, not killing them without due cause.

Everything was put on this planet for a reason, and we as humans have no right to wipe these species out. Without the animals and plants the ecosystem would crash, crops will die, food shortages will occur over time, once the animal species die out it will only be a matter of time before humans do to, we are all part of the same planet!!!
