Question pond

sorry to bother anyone but i am hoping to attract some amphibians to my garden, and i would like to know about ponds, how much do they cost,and how do u build them???
i have taken a fancy to native frogs/toads/newts, and would like to attract them to my garden.i have 1 frog in my garden at the moment, he is presently under the shed.

depends on what you have to spend and the space you have. But you can buy small plastic ones from garden centres for about £50-£100, then depends on how you want to do it you can dig a hole to put the plastic liner in. If you want filters etc its gonna cost a fortune. but if you just want it natural then fill it with rain water and just maintain it. But it probably needs to be in a quite area away from cats dogs etc and near trees and after a while you may get things that naturally come to the pond.
