Default Hoggie Alert! They are taking over!

Hiya hunnies,

I've notice over the past few nights that a hedgehog has taking a liking to our front garden lawn. Well tonight I went outside for a ciggy and was sat on my doorstep and heard a weird little grunting noise so I looked next to my right foot and found this little darling!.

And then I looked over by our wall and there was another one!. I love Hoggies they are so cute! I had to take 2 pics! And then left them to wonder. Sorry about the quality of pic no.2 as I did not want to scare them by getting too close although the one that was next to my foot was'nt too bothered maybe I had cheesy feet

I was camping during the warmer months (so, for me, that means Apr-Sep) in the Lakes, and awoke in the night to a rustling sound, which previous ly had meant either field-mice or rats. Stood in my birthday suit, armed only with a torch, I searched the vastness of the tent, to witness a pulsating multipack of Hula Hoops! That would freak anyone out surely!?

I lifted the pack, which was abnormally overweight, and shook it, expecting either huge rats or a cat to fall out, and was amazed to see a hedgie with hoops all over his/her back... I lifted a section of the tent and she sculced off into the night no worse for wear for the ordeal she was put under.

She was probably laughing at me for being naked and bordering on being petrified but, I was most certainly laughing from sheer relief! :vsmile:

Now that's one to tell your grandchildren about!.

Great story! Did you leave outside the tent the rest of the hula hoops? As she obviously took a liking to them

aww they are cute. When we had our caravan ew had a few friends. we used to site out there late at night with the burner/ fire going and these littel creatures would literally creap up on ya about 11pm and jsut sit and watch ya or scurry away. My caravan was near the waters ( the ****) edge so we had quite a good variety of wildlife moles, water voles minks ( apparently) eels in the water also told pike, ducks geese and even grass snakes and thats without the birds and other little creatures and sheep in the next field

Was a grate place but rent got to expensive - dontmiss the site but miss the wildlife and all the " little" freinds i made with my personal pets lol! It was like home from home.

Sorry Becks didnt meanto hijack this lol!

Dont get any hoggies round here that ive seen but thanks for sharing and share moreif you get any
