Been a bit of a bizzare and busy week at mine with 2 adult snake brought to me by folk.

First came after being found in a garden hedge, despite enquiries in the village no one has laid claim to him so he's going to get a feed and wormer tomorrow see how he goes.


Second one arrived yesterday with a guy saying his landlord has threatened to evict them if they didn't get rid of the snake NOW, seems the local pet shop said I'd now what to do with it! Another male who has thankfully got a new home tomorrow with a friend in Shropshire, so my eldest will take him back with her after visiting.



Dread to think what else might turn up over the next few wks once word gets out I've got 2 empty snake racks

well done you, being a rescue is heartbreaking at times but oh so rewarding

Done dog, cat, parrot, rodent rescue's in the past so suppose it had to happen eventually I'd start getting rep rescues lol. Got 2 rescue royals coming later that haven't eaten in a while and had mites, so quarrantine for those just to make sure they're mite free then a fresh kill see how they do on the feeding front, seems they're losing weight now.

The cali king is going to a friend today so he's sorted but the ro I want to worm and feed before I let him go.

Well the royals have arrived and eaten as soon as I offered them food, so hopefully the skinny look will be gone by summers end lol
