Ok well now bosh is geting bigger, soon im gona ahve to get a washing up bowl and cut a hole in him for it, for a hide. But i wana paper mashy it up, is this ok? Also i wana paint it in a olive green colour, anyone know what paint is safe? and if its even safe to use paper mashy stuff?

well people use other glues n stuff, jsut make sure its non toxic and leave to dry/air for a few days. Not sure on paint, but again if its non toxic will it be ok?

lol i remember as a kid we used to use flour n water to make papier mashey but dont know if it would hold up. Plus i have heard of people varnishing stuff as long as its aired correctly for a few days.

As i kid i used pva glue and newspaper. the pva leaves a nice varnish over it too, so even when iv painted it id pva over the top too. Just hope pva will be ok to use.

yes look on instructions but its must be non toxic otherwise they could not use it in schools.

Papier mache is fine - pva is harmless but do make sure it is well varnished otherwise it will go soft again. I use the big bottles of kiddies paint from places like toys r us - cheap and safe. I also use cot varniish - this is totally lead free and not toxic - have fun - bet it looks great

thanks for the help what varnish do you recomend? I used some varnish on a viv i made, but it very dark, and i need one that will dry transparant.
