Merlin becomes Houdini!
Well remember my non feeding king Merlin?
Opened his viv to sort his water and he was gone! He's got out via a hole covered in tape. So last night we had to excavate behind the viv stack which is huge btw! And under the stairs. There he was at the back down the back. We had to (hubby) use hubbys fishing rod with a snake hook taped to it to retrieve him! This is Merlin ....ahem Houdini

Glad you found him! It's always a nightmare when they get out, and they seem to have an ability to find the hardest places to get them out of too!
I've caught an eel with a fishing rod but, never a snake! Did you weigh him and put him back? Bet you didn't did you!?

 hubby said at least he caught something this week! He's been having a bad time in matches as of late.

hehe glad u got him back hun, hes a stunner isnt he!!!!
i remember when my first snake, a corn snake escaped from between the panes of glass in a viv. After searching the entire room i saw her going into the back of the tele with a tiny bit of tail left so i grabbed her and dragged her back out, she wasnt too impressed but she was fine!

ooh luly king! that's why i want but will never get any coulbrids, my mum is terrified 1 will get out, and if it does she will make me give it away.
