Why don't you just wait until your female is of breed able age and then breed. Im not being funny but if you don't even know the fundamental, rules of breeding maybe you should wait that way you will be able to read up on them and know what you are supposed to be doing instead of rushing in blind and hoping for the best

Go get a book and read it and then think if rep keeping/breeding is for you. I would also love it if your parents joined on the forum and spoke to a few of us so maybe they knew that they are buying their son reps he doesn't know anything about.

Ace,
Dont take this the wrong way, but the advice you are being given by everyone is good advice. You do seem to be in a ruch to breed when you dont have the grasp of some basic ideas. I have met you, and I am in no doubt that a breedable boa, male or female, has the ability to kill you. I know your mum is supportive of your hobby, just a little worried, as are others, that she may not know the full facts. Boas can be stroppy esp when gravid, and they are heavy and powerfull. The advice people give you is not intended to be unhelpful or rude, just sometimes it seems as if it goes unheeded. We have a group of 1.3 boas, and even us grown men sometimes have problems, and have you given thought to looking after the young, feeding maybe 30 young boas is a task in itsself, and they can be snappy to. Please dont think people are being rude, when infact they are trying to help, however it may come across, its your safty and the animals care thats at heart.
Time since my last smoke
