He is well loved! He can say "Hello", "Hello Baby", "Hey Baby", and "I love You"!
He was hand raised since birth and thinks he is "People"! LOL
He has had a few baths since those pics were taken and his feathers don't look matted anymore. I got him from a woman who could not care for him anymore.
Actually, She did not care for him much at all. She kept him in the garage because she and her husband couldn't tolerate the noise that they sometimes make.
I'm glad that he didn't pluck his feathers out as so many hand raised cockatoos and parrots do when they are ignored and forced into isloation because the owners can't handle
the "Noise" that they make! They go insane without some kind of interaction with another living thing!
These birds require interaction with others as much as a dog needs a pack! The are not solitery animals and can't survive on their own!
With both dogs and Cockatoos, We are their pack or flock.
