dry vivarium with lots of leaves for coverage. Use a sandy soil substrate which is about 3" deep if possible, as they like to burrow

ooooh fire skinks! in which case, ignore what I said before lol
From what I remember about keeping them, they need it nice and humid but not damp. Use something like eco earth as a substrate and make sure it's nice and deep. Basically, the opposite of what I said before lol

i will be using repti bark which is moist i hope that it will be suitable, as i only use kitchen roll for my beardie & gecko . i know they like the ground cover to be deep but how much should i but down because of heat mat

about 2 - 3" as they will burrow a lot. I'd use a basking bulb too tbh.
