Default UV Research

Hey everyone, I came across the link to that one research study done a while ago:
UV Lighting for Reptiles: A new problem with high UVB output fluorescent compact lamps and tubes?

So I got to thinking, does anyone know if Frances is doing another study at the moment? I think its important to keep doing these kinds of things you know. Sure it was great at the time, but what about now? I think it would be great.

You know ZooMed and Zilla were some of the ones mentioned. And the thing is some of my friends have the reptisun bulbs that were listed and I have been using some of the new zilla desert lights for months without any problems. So its like, it would be cool to have an update as to how all the lights are doing now. It appears to me the ones that weren't doing so good are doing ok now. Get it? I'm just curious to know.

(By the way, I wanted to post this in the General Reptile Chat section, but when I clicked on it, it would keep redirecting me to the sub-forum list.)

i used a low uv with a crested gecko which had very mild mbd and within a few weeks it actually sorted itself out and the puffyness went down.

Im also testing a low uv with my leos for a couple of hours a day as theyre egg laying and therefore i think it will be benificial for the production of the vitamin D3 for the calcium absorbtion
