My daughter and I signed today and I'll get the wife to sign tonight. I'll work on friends and other family in this coming week.
Really when you think about it should've been easy to get loads of , I did spend most of the year in Italy and at the moment I've no net out there. Until rory mentioned it I had no Idea there was a petition.
we need to raise it's profile more, how can we do this?
What about a letter to magazines like fur and feather etc.
could we get some in our respective local news papers.
We could go onto the different forums we are on and ask if we could post the petition link. might jog a few people.

yes you coudl also contact reptile care mag if they havent already and they can either addin into the mag or send a note to all subscribers ( like me)

Im a noob, but marketing and information does seem to be the problem.

I am not even sure what the actual issue is so why hasnt someone posted a clear concise statement detailing what is going on and put it on sticky. We cant expect everyone to trawl through forums looking for the original post.

If someone submits a good statement we can all do our bit by contacting our local reptile shop and dropping of flyers for them to give customers, we can post on classifieds like gumtree and sun local etc.. in our area to raise awareness for free.

Has anyone started a facebook or myspace group/ message to forward on ?

we can contact online reptile forums and shops to put up ads, it appears to me that it would be in their business interest to put it up. This shouldnt be just a sticky on a forum , it should be on the homepage. any shops with a mailing list can add it to that too...

If everyone that has signed makes an effort we can make an impact, if not now at least for the future...
