Thanks for the articles - very helpful

Just managed to purchase 80 large ones for £15 so hopefully they'll be appreciated. If anyone wants to buy some too then the link is... http://www.silkwormstore.co.uk/silkworms.html (hope that's allowed?). If they go down well and I think they'll be beneficial long term then I'll start hatching them myself, otherwise my live food bill is gonna increase ten-fold lol

From what I've read they're supposed to be one of the best you can buy, I can't quite remember the nutritional values but they were better than other staple live foods usually fed to leos, just the cost that puts the majority of people off

Well the butter worms went down well Can only be used as a treat but it's nice to have an alternative to waxies so I'd definitely recommend them Just read that they can be used as a treat for cresties too so I'll try that later

Yep The butter worms were only £2.50 delivered so wouldn't have been the end of the world if they had turned their noses up at them, still, nice to have a variety though

Well after a bit of a hiccup the silkworms seem to be a hit with my leos!

At first they totally ignored them and I was a bit fed up at wasting a bunch of money but then I realised that my flipping mat stat had gone on the blink and the temp had dropped loads so I disconnected it, got the temp back up again and voila - munched silkworms

I also tried them with my cresties and one crestie seems to love them so I'm dead chuffed about that.

Would definitely recommend them to other people!
