contact your local reptile shop as customers often bring them back and ask them if they can keep them for you - you could even get your self a deal with them for them to sell them for you. Shame your not local as we would do that where i work

hi thanks so much for your help its really appreciated. i used to work at my local shop but somebody new took it over and its really plumited down hill since theyv taken over, they have no knowledge of the animals they sell there and i dont see it open for much longer. i find it a real shame and it annoys me that people like this can own a shop.
thanks

can you not go back there and offer them advice or are they stubborn people that think they know it all. If you fele strongley that they have no idea try cotnaacting someone from your local council or rspca- ok sounds nasty but you have to think of the animals and if they are not looking after them then they are doing wrong

i tried to speak to him but he thinks that he knows everything and cant seem to get anywhere with him. when he first took over he killed off all of the marine fish along with many of the tropical freshwater fish, and he also put two heat bulbs in two vivs which where double the wattage they should have been withought stats, this resulted in a few beardies actually more or less cooked, it makes me soo mad thinking that these people are aloud to run shops like this. my dad works in the council so il have send them a report.
thanks

yh do so tell your dad how you feel and im sure he will do all he can to help support you in getting something done.

If they guy is killing animals and you have any proof then they can get the shop shut down. No not nice but id much rather them shut down than keep killing animals coz they are to ignorant to listen. Rign the RSPCA and tell them they should do something - more time you ring them or can get people to ring them the more they wil take notice, hopefully this idiot will have his licence to keep animal revoked
Keep us posted with any details and if there is anything you think we can do to help please let us know

I've not read the entire thread but, what about the plastic boxes that take-aways use typically for Chinese/Indian food? You can get either 50 or 100 (I can't remember!) for a few quid.

I had to Google Maps Holyhead to remind myself where it was, not worth the drive to Liverpool to pick them up from. There must be wholesalers in Gwynedd that sell catering stuff? Yell.com might help you out, just call a few on the phone and see if they sell to the general public. I've got membership to a few trade-only ones but, there's a Chinese food warehouse in Liverpool just outside the city centre that sell either 50 or 100 with lids for under £4. Bit too much of a drive to make it cost effective from Holyhead though, especially with the toll for crossing the Mersey!
