Default New Tortoise *pics*
Meet my new tort, i was only going to the shop and saw his ad in the window rang up and went to pick him up!

he has always been fed on weeds and never lived in a viv and has a slice of cucumber once a month. Oh and he's 4 years old.

Were taking him to the vets on Tuesday to see if the vet will trim his beak

when you take him vets the vet will show you how to trim the beak or file it down is very easy when you know how ,ive trimmed lots now for my tortoise friends tortoise lady

once you have beak trimmed put some cuttle fish in and your tortoise will keep the beak trimmed on that or put his/her food on a piece if slate and as it eats the beak will keep trim that way tortoise lady

I was told by his last owner that he had a Bath twice a week

and i gave him a bath the day i got him and have been giving him a bath 3 times a week since ive had him.

he also has fresh water all the time
