Default LEOPARD TORTOISE

Ive brought the Leopard tortoise from the shop home for a few days so she can enjoy my garden. She has rather long nails at the back.

Can anyone tell me how long they should be. She is about 12-18inches long and 9 yrs old. Where she is in her tank in the shop she cannot grind them down herself, not sure if its coz they are so long or what. I take her out fora walk at least once a week down the high street where she has a chance to grind them, but they do look rather long and just wondered if i clipped them how much i should take off.
I assume like beardies they can only have a short amount taken off but these seems very long at the back. I will try and get some photos of her and her back feet so you can see how long they are.

But any help will be much appreciated.
