my dad bought me a tomato frog about two months ago. but he has moved about a inch since we got him. is this normal for a tomato frog?
and if i post pictures on here could some one tell me wethere it is male or female. i think that is a male because it is making sounds lyk its voice is braking. it make these noises at night.

ive never kept tomato frogs, but i have kept other species and in all honesty they didnt do much or move much.

i would look one day and they would be in the corner, next day...still there.

maybe they do move at night but then go back to same spot?

I had a frog once and they dont do much but the one i had i lost for a day and found him on my bike but nah they just sit about going all day long that's why i don't keep them anymore

They're generally more active at night, but will sit in the same spot for ages. This could mean one of a few things:

1. If it's near a water source, it might be a decent patch of humidty that it's looking for

2. If you've only just got it, it could just be very timid and wondering what the hell's going on.

3. If you feed it by hand then it's probably just lazy!

You should get a horned frog, they NEVER move! That's how they feed, they sit....wait...and pounce on anything that walks by.

Then they sit again...

Think Fantasy Frogs must do the same. We got Piggy in the shop Hes fat and only time he moves in when you put food in and then all he does is opens his mouth.
