well not sure but, how old are they. We have whites tree frogs and think they have to be about 4-5 yrs old and maybe a certain size. Ours croak all the time and are about 2 yrs old. have no id on what sex they are as its difficult to tell with whites. so not sure if greys are different

not sure i was sold them as a male female pair. The one croaking is very large in comparison to the other so pretty sure 1.1.0 there

i have been told its difficult to sex them until they are much older, but apparently the pads on the feet of the male ( if i remember) are larger and males croak loader to.

Mate...Are they Hyla versicolor???
if so, they're gonna need quite a large water area with semi submerged water plants in there! The female will deposit her eggs (in a little cluster...Each containing about 20-40 eggs) on the plants at the surface of the water. Depending on your water temps, they should hatch anywhere between 3-7 days! The tadpoles will then feed on any water borne algae...You could try collecting some rain water for them (This will contain particles for them to feed on)....Otherwise, I always found the 'Tetramin baby powder food' used to also work quite nice as a tadpole food supplement! With any luck, you should have some fully metamorphosed froglets in about 6-8 weeks! Woohooooo!!!!!! As for age in sexual maturity with the Grey's...It's usually about 2 years for both the male & female! Anyhow....Good luck & keep us all posted!!! - And don't forget the pic's!!!

Yes they are Hyla Versicolor. Not sure whats going on yet nothing really happening at the moment. I don't mind the amount of little froggies we have their cool, i assume they will fight for food and stuff so will probably lose a fair few.
As for age hey are about 2 inches.

Mate, the mortality rate is gonna be HUGE!!! But you should be chuffed to bit's if you end up with a dozen or so li'l treefrog's jumping around ya viv!
The main problem is gonna be keeping the water fresh...No easy task when there's a chance you could have 2000 or so tad's to contend with! Decaying bodies and food matter will turn the water really quickly...And if you don't manage to keep on top of it, you could lose the lot overnight! ![]() Best thing to do is keep doing regular water changes (say 20-50%), and keep an eye on the ammonia levels! Just gonna be a case of trial and error I'm afraid, but removing any dead as soon as you spot them should help ease it! As for the size of 'em...Yup mate...They're fully grown! - Cute ain't they! Alway's had a soft spot for these beauties!!!
